snier's review: I applied online last night. Wasn't approved right away but got an email this morning saying I was approved for $1000. My credit scores are 701 EQ and 751 TU. Not sure which credit bureau they pulled. Will update when I find out. I wasn't able to get approved last month through American Express. So I decided to try through Bank of America. I'm happy to finally have an American Express in my wallet.

Congratulations on 2009-06-25
On your approval. Those aren't bad scores at all, Amex's loss.
I believe they pull Experian (them and everybody else).

Congrats! BoA approved me for their Accelerated Cash Rewards AMEX a couple days ago with a $2,500 limit so it seems like they're still opening new accounts.
Hope you enjoy using your new card.

I applied for this card a week ago to be exactly on 06/17, my EQ was 725 and Ex was over 700 and they denied my application, they say that I have too many inquiries, they pull EX and for my bad luck I had 12 inquiries on 12/08, so I was wondering freeze my EX CR, so they can pull my EQ cause I don't have inquiries, any suggestion
thank you

Any inquiries more than 1 year old - they won't count - banks worry on most recent inquiries (less than a year) - to qualified for Bank of America - AMEX card, you need 750 or higher (750 is minimum scores to qualified) -
good luck

Great card!
"to qualified for Bank of America - AMEX card, you need 750 or higher (750 is minimum scores to qualified) "
My scores were high six and 2 low 700's when I qualified for this card, is this new criteria? Just curious.
