haney's review: I received information about a great balance transfer offer for Washington Mutual Visa, however, as noted on another review, Washington Mutual Visa doesn't exist. I went to the website www.GetmyVisa.com as instructed (now they have my email information and will probably SPAM me) and Washington Mutual was not an option. On the Washington Mutual website there are no Visa choices for credit cards. As the other person's review asked, is this a scam or way to obtain information for future use? Doesn't instill a lot of confidence in Washington Mutual.

I have heard good and bad news about this card, more bad when it comes down to them sending offers. I am not for sure if it is a scam or not but in the mean time read all the reviews about this card and I believe you will get a better judgment about them. If you did not apply yet, I suggest you use your first mind and look for another card with Financial Globe.

I don't know if the WAMU Visa is a fake or not, I have the "Wamu Mastercard." I actually just received the card a month ago. It was a preapproved offer in the mail. I remember receiving an offer from "Get My Visa" a year ago and I didn't go to that site I went to the actual WAMU. COM site, because I thought it was the same offer. If you click on the credit card tab on the real wamu.com site they ask you if you have an online ID, (that's if you already bank with them and have a online ID) if you click no, they tell you to click a "find my offer" button and and then they take you to the platinum "MasterCard" page to apply. After entering my information, the offer they preapproved me for in the mail, popped up. I just disregarded the get my Visa offer. Credit Boards like this one are great for filtering out the pesky card offers we could do without, especially for those of us who are trying to reestablish credit. I will do some digging, If I find out anything I will post it here. I Wish you luck!

Well I hope Washington Mutual Visa exists since I have one in my wallet. I think this card was by invitation only. It did have a sweet balance transfer and I love my WaMu card. They also offer more sweet BTs on a regular basis. They are very generous with Credit limit increases (4xs the original limit in the first year) from 1k to 4k and have upgraded mine to cash back.
I can't say enough about this card and its excellent customer service. The free PFICO scores don't hurt either. Not sure what the criteria is for the app. Just glad I got it and didn't feed it to the shredder. At least the third time that is.

Congrats Brammy, nice cli's. I have heard some individuals speaking good about this card also. I guess WaMu just can't please them all... Lol.
