I have applied for this card several times. This time I was approved (EX: 620, EQ: 627, TU: 605). My credit limit is only $250.00 but hey its a start as I continue to rebuild (apr about 19%). I know one person that applied and only got 125.00 limit, so considering that, it is better than denied. I will use it around Christmas time, and it will come in handy then. I do shop at Walmart a lot, and online, so good to be approved for a card that I will actually use on occasion.

Congrats on your approval! My husband received $75 when he applied. I shop at walmart a lot so I am happy to have a card also. Congrats again!

You Can Use This At Sams on 2009-03-24
I went to Sams the other day and saw that hey only accept Walmart Cards, Discvoer, MC, and debit.

Welcome to the Walmart family. I have no problem with them so far, they are just slow on cli's but other than that, have fun with the card and keep us posted in the comments with your overall usage of the card. The only thing that ticks me is that I have never received any coupons or special discounts for cardholders. The only thing that I did receive was scratch offs for $25 on the billing statement return envelope for Home depot, Lowes... Etc. If you use it, your card will be billed annually for it. "Not"!

On your new card. GEMB is looking for any reason to close down accounts, so be sure to use it even for small things now and again to keep it active.
