Buckle Credit Card Review

interjack's review: I have had this card for two years and just use it whenever I shop at Buckle or need an emergency outfit. If you apply for this card, apply in store. If you are a college student, give them your student ID and apply for a student account. Your limit will be low, but you will almost be guaranteed approval. (I applied online and was denied, went in store next day and was approved). The CS is horrible and the toll free menu is a labyrinth. Payments made on the day of the due date online are considered on time.
I never receive rewards with this card but there is a point system in place.
Pay on time and use your card and over time you will receive pretty large CLIs.

APR? on 2009-03-15
If you don't mind, can you share your APR and your credit limit? What it was initially and how often your limits were increased? Rockin35!

Regarding APR And CL on 2009-03-15
My APR has been 22.8% since I opened my account. They changed it last month to 23.32%. When I opened my account, I had a CL of $200. I made two purchases each in the year for around $50 and revolved them for two months paying around $25 until they were payed off. In the first year, I had no CLI. Called CS and CS said that my limit was not increased because I had a zero balance. So, I made $175 in purchases and got a CLI in the same month to $620.
My Express card is about the same and is issued by the same bank. I started out with a CL of $200 but used my card like there was no tomorrow and got a CLI to $920 after 11 mos.

Card Serves MIX For FICO Scores on 2009-03-22
Purpose in a card like this is a mix of card types reporting for FICO Scores. FICO scores look for bank cards, store/gas cards, mortgages and installment loans (personal loans, vehicle loans, personal line of credit). FICO likes to see a mix of use. FICO Scores look for account activity too. Not just a card sitting there reporting its existence but no use. Sock drawing is not the answer.

Regarding Credit Scores on 2009-03-24
I am not exactly sure what they were, but I had just started to establish credit, so I would imagine that it was somewhere around 580.
